The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) headquarters building was designed by internationally-renowned architect Moshe Safdie. The building, comprised of three wings and two large atria, features a signature roof made with 1482 glass panels that are each approximately four feet by four feet. The USIP campus also includes two 100-year-old federal buildings, the Bush and Clinton buildings, that are connected to the USIP headquarters by a walkway named the John Warner Peace Bridge.
