Situated on Gateway Center Drive along the I-270 Corridor in suburban Maryland, Gateway 270 consists of four Class A flex/warehouse buildings totaling approximately 250,000 square feet. The buildings are located at 22513, 22527, 22601, and 22605 Gateway Center Drive and feature glass storefronts and skylights as well as the ceiling heights and mechanical systems today's occupants require. Akridge acquired the land, completed a venture structure with Prudential Real Estate Investors, and finished this project on time, under budget, and ahead of pro-forma in 2000. Gateway 270 received numerous awards including the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors Industrial Project of the Year award in 2000.
