Akridge developed 1550 M Street, NW for the American Chemical Society. Selected to oversee the development of their 95,000-gross-square-foot annex, Akridge was challenged with accomplishing a substantial design on a small site. The property includes a first-story, conference facility and below-grade parking, while maintaining the structural integrity of the adjacent landmark AME Church. We successfully developed a distinctive building on this narrow downtown site. The property offers amenities, a two-story entrance, and finishes usually found in larger office buildings.
