As part of our commitment to the community and to the legacy of Thaddeus Stevens, Akridge is proud to offer a $10,000 college scholarship to students from the District of Columbia. The scholarship is open to all DC students who meet the following criteria:

  • Student must provide proof of residency in the District of Columbia.
  • Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree on a full-time basis.
  • Applicants must provide proof of college acceptance and/or enrollment.
  • Scholarship can be renewed after a successful reapplication up to two times, or until undergraduate degree has been achieved, whichever occurs fi rst.
  • Student must have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale at the time of application.
  • Preference will be given to students from ANC2A with special education needs.

Scholarship Application Guidelines
  • Applications are accepted online only.
  • Each applicant must supply two letters of recommendation, a current academic transcript, and a copy of the Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Each applicant must submit a typed essay of no more than 500 words describing the history of the Thaddeus Stevens School and how this legacy impacts them as a District resident.
  • Applications that fail to meet the requirements or are incomplete will not be reviewed.
  • Scholarship applicants may be asked to provide additional information.
  • An e-mail will be sent to all students who submit a complete application, letting them know if they have been selected for an award.

1300 Connecticut Avenue is a 10 story, mixed-use high rise located in the heart of Dupont Circle, within the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District. We are perfectly positioned in close proximity to an abundance of restaurants, high-end retail shops, and trendy eateries. Located at the end of the block is the Dupont Circle Metro Station, which is ideal for those that travel by Metro, however; for those that opt to drive monthly parking is also available in our underground parking garage.

Recently renovated, the building offers a fitness facility furnished with the latest fitness equipment and WIFI, a dramatic two-story lobby, rooftop deck equipped with complimentary WIFI, and first floor retail.

Akridge's Office is located on-site on the C Level. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.


On site, our newly renovated fitness center offers state of the art strength training equipment, cardio equipment, shower facilities, changing stalls, towel service, daily lockers, television and free wi-fi.

To use the building's fitness center, please complete and return this form to your property manager. Once the property manager has received your completed waiver, please wait two to three hours before accessing the fitness center to make sure that your fob has been properly activated.

On-site underground monthly parking available. Access to the garage is located on 19th Street between Dupont Circle and N Street. Follow signage for 1330 Connecticut Avenue parking and park in the Impark designated spaces on levels C2 and C3. Monthly Parking contracts are currently available. Please contact Impark for rates and information.


1300 Connecticut Avenue is staffed with security personnel from 7am - 11pm Monday through Friday. Security personnel is also available from 8am - 5pm on Saturdays. The security officer is located in the main lobby and may be contacted by calling (202) 331-0390. An access card system is in place for convenient after-hours building access.


Tenants may utilize the bike racks located in the parking garage on a first come, first serve basis. Building Staff and Management are not responsible for any damage or theft occurring on the premise.


Green cleaning, recycling and e-waste programs are in use at 1300 Connecticut Avenue.


Incoming mail is delivered to tenants' suites. A USPS box is located in the rear lobby corridor for outgoing mail. FedEx and UPS drop-boxes are also located in the rear lobby corridor.


Ground floor retail includes Hip City Veg, Moby Dick House of Kabob, Wells Fargo, Chop't Salad, and Jenni Bick Fine Custom Journals. Catering services are available.
