This position is focused on commercial construction management of tenant improvement projects, capital improvement projects and LEED and Commission projects.
The Project/Construction Manager is an ambassador for the Construction Department and a liaison between external Clients and internal colleagues, with a specific focus on the Property Management team. Good judgment, confidence and a cooperative demeanor are essential, as well as a commitment to working in a team environment and using superior interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication between all parties.
Mastery of prioritization to effectively follow through on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines is fundamental. Budgetary and scheduling capabilities and experience in sustainable construction practices are preferred. The ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering construction documents and a strong working knowledge of MS Office and MS Project applications is necessary.
BS in related field and a minimum of five years relevant experience required. LEED Accreditation preferred.
