BOMA/CEL National Property Management Award Based on the annual survey results of building occupants and investors, Akridge was selected in 2006, 2005, 2004, 2002, 2001, 2000 and 1999 as the winner of the CEL Real Estate Excellence Award in the Portfolio - Under 25 Properties Category. CEL & Associates, an independent commercial real estate research firm, has partnered with BOMA International to set the industry standard for excellence.
Building of the Year Awards "The Office Building of the Year" is an honor given by the Building Owners and Managers Association, and its local affiliates, for the best managed office buildings on the local, regional and national levels in various building size categories. 1201 Eye Street is a "TOBY" winner for 2005. The Apartment and Office Building Association (local BOMA chapter) presented this award to the Akridge management team on June 20, 2005. 1800 K Street received the 2002 Building Owners and Managers Association Regional Building of the Year award. On the local level, the building received the Grand Award and was named best building in the 100,000 - 250,000 square foot category by AOBA. 1200 New York Avenue, headquarters for the American Association for the Advancement of Science, won this same award in 1999 and won at the regional level as well. 1200 New York Avenue also won the 1998 Building of the Year Award in the Corporate Facility Category. Akridge buildings, 1090 Vermont Avenue, The Homer Building and 1667 K Street have won BOMA's "In Pursuit of Excellence Awards." 1090 Vermont Avenue won the 1997 AOBA Building of the Year Award in the modernized/renovated category. The Homer Building won the 1990 AOBA Building of the Year and proceeded to win the Regional and International BOMA Award for Excellence. These awards are based on outstanding building operation and management.
District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award Akridge was selected as the 1999 recipient of the annual Business of the Year Award.
Fast Track As a winner of the 1999 Award in the "Exceeding Customer Expectations" category, Akridge was recognized for outstanding customer service.
The Building Industry Award Honored in 1999 and 1992 by the District of Columbia Building Industry Association for outstanding contributions to the nation's capital and the real estate industry.

CEL & Associates "A List" Service Excellence Awards The majority of Akridge buildings have received the Real Estate "A List" Award for Service Excellence every year at the local level. This award is given to buildings that achieve the highest level of service as rated by building occupants and owners.
Greater WashingtonCommercial Association of Realtors Developer of the Year Award Recognized for outstanding development activity in the metropolitan area over the last year, the award was received in 2002.
